Our website
Our website www.encuentrodebrujas.be is an information platform where you can find all information you need to take part of one of our events.

Personal data which we collect about you
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified.

To organise closed international tango events we collect a variety of information about people who want to join our events. We use the collected data:
- to accept and communicate with dancers for the next event; these data (first name, last name, gender, city, country, e-mail, Facebook-url, type of registration, role, eventually first/last name of life partner) are preserved for maximum one year after the moment of registration;
- to inform you about the upcoming events; these data (first name, last name, e-mail, country, previous participations) are kept until you ask us to retrieve and delete the data or we stop our activities.

We will only provide your data to third parties if this is necessary to organise the events:
For example, we use a third party for:
- taking care of the internet environment (web hosting);
- providing IT infrastructure (including IT network, ...);
- the provision (and distribution) of newsletters and invitations;
- to organise catering to your wishes.
We will never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not entered into a processor agreement.

Your legal rights

- the right of access – that’s a right to make what’s known as a ‘data subject access request’ for copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- the right to rectification – that’s a right to make us correct personal data about you that may be incomplete or inaccurate;
- the right to erasure – that’s also known as the ‘right to be forgotten’ where in certain circumstances you can ask us to delete the personal data we have about you;
- the right to restrict processing – that’s a right for you in certain circumstances to ask us to suspend processing personal data;

 If you wish to exercise any of the rights set out above, please contact us.
